I have always been the person that people seem to drift to, to talk about their lives, their problems, and their futures. I am a compassionate listener who is able to offer suggestions and solutions for situations that people are going through.
My first experience making meditative recordings was for a former world-class cyclist who was in a cycling accident that left him unable to race anymore. His whole life was turned upside down. He was lost emotionally, so I created an audio recording as a gift to help him sit quietly with himself and to give him hope. I wanted to tell him that he still had everything within him that helped him become an amazing cyclist. All of that could be applied to succeeding in many other ways. His life has since turned around, and he is now on a new path where he is successful and thriving. He has told me that he still listens to the recording that I gave him, as it helps him to remember where he was and where he is going now.
Soon, other people found out about my recordings and asked if I could make one for them.

I create personalized meditations for people who are going through transitions or need help getting back on a positive track. I listen to people and help them readjust their mindset, so they can live the life that is most authentic and joyful for them. I am here for you and can be your helpful guide.
I am trained and certified in CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management), which I have used in my 15-year search and rescue counseling experiences. During this time, I started and put together a CISM team to be advocates for family and friends of lost victims. And I also put together a debriefing team for volunteers to help them de-stress after the searches.
I am also trained and certified to work with and understand a variety of situations that people are going through. I have over 20 years of education in such areas as post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
From my real-life experiences, I have also learned important life coping skills that I can pass on to others. I went through a divorce and became a single mom of two children in my 30s. In 2012, I lost my then 34-year-old son in an extreme sport accident. And in 2017, I had a life-threatening medical condition where I was life-flighted from Bend to Portland to OSHU for lifesaving treatment.
Over the years, I have realized that there is a limited amount of help you can get from what the people around you do and say to support you, no matter how well-meaning they are. At times, you just need to be quiet, pull back inside, and connect with your own inner strengths. Having a recorded meditation can be lifesaving, especially if you are struggling to get there on your own. I like helping individuals who are going through transitions or having trouble connecting to their skills, their potential, their strengths, and their uniqueness. I’m here to listen and help you create a life you love.

Below is a video of Laura Donnelly and I discussing how meditation can be used to heal. This is one conversation in a series that Laura recorded for her “Healing Path” talks. Watch to learn a little about some of the guided meditation and breathing techniques that I use with my clients.
